Here are some more pictures from Sierra's birthday. Opening her baby swing, wearing her Barbie "Mermaidia" outfit, and of course blowing out her candles at my parent's house for her party. She still has that shock and awe excited look when she opens gifts. I hope she keeps that for a couple more years before the,"But, Mom I asked for the other thing other than what you got me look."

I do love that excitement!! It makes all the work worth it. She is such a combination of the two of you. Just so striking :)

She's precious, Jen. It's been neat reading your blog and catching up on what you guys are up to.

She is adorable. I love seeing the kiddos of old friends. She looks like someone i knew in mrs. simonson's (WONDER WHATEVER HAPPENED TO HER. . .)class--only with brighter blue eyes! so fun. and leigh's little girl looks like you too. very fun and cute.
happy anniversary--did you light a spring-loaded candle in remembrance of such a great occasion? :-)

Liesl, I talked with Leah Rains a couple months ago, & she mentions having the Simonsens over for dinner at her parents' house. Apparently they were home on furlough (sp?) . . . & alive & well. I bit my lip on the topic, but I giggled to myself . . . ahhhh, good times.

We were hoping we could send in the video to Funniest Home Videos but it shot off so fast you could barely see it - just the laughing afterwards :) I think they should just get rid of the unity candle - always problems :)

By the way, how is Leah & Melissa & Heather too?

Melissa just got married a couple weeks ago--the pics are beautiful! It is quite the story. But anyway, I am so happy for her. he is a nice-looking guy. she looks more and more like her mom. and they are at marquette manor--where the Tuttle's are/were. So Simonsen's are still missionaries? Cool. Wonder if the bunnies are quiet there. Let's all be weally, weally, quiet, cuz the bunnies are sweeping!

Happy Birthday, Sierra! Wow, who would have thought a tough girl like her would be such a little mommy and princess?
