Happy Birthday today, Jordan! Here's the gift we gave him for his 10th b'day - Legos :).
Right after this, we told all the kids that we are all going on a vacation to Disney World in a couple of weeks. Brooke & Sierra were going crazy. They both want to see Cinderella. Sierra even took a bracelet she has and put it in a fancy bag to give Cinderella when we get there. It is part of a 2 bracelet set with one saying "best" and the other "friends". Too funny! Boy oh boy, do I hope we actually see her, or it could get interesting.

Too cool!! You guys are going to have so much fun :) When are you going?

Happy Birthday, Jordan. Wow, I can't believe how old everyone is getting. Well, that is besides your mom and sister. Seriously I don't think either of them looks older than when I was in high school. How in the world do they do it? Not to mention they haven't gained an ounce of weight. No fair!!!

Well we are going Oct. 25-31. Both my mom & sister are quite busy, so they eat little. You will laugh at this, hope my mom doesn't mind :) - she works out on the treadmill every morning while watching American Idol reruns that Dad taped for her on DVR. Leigh goes for a walk everyday with her dog who is quite strong. One day the dog took her for a walk and dragged her on her stomach down the road and in the process broke her finger - good times!

You're going to Disney World?!? How fun! Can't wait to see the pictures. Does Steve get to go too?

Alicia - yeah Steve gets to go too. He just wants to go to Sea World if possible. Other than that, he's resigned himself that the trip is for the kids :).

Yikes!!! I hate to admit it but I cracked up imagining Leah being pulled behind a dog. I bet she was doing everything but laughing :)

Ok, well at least it isn't that they both eat whatever they want and don't have to exercise. That makes it a little better at least!

Hurray for vacations. And it must be fun to go with family. Kids can play with each other. I think your mom and sis look the same, too--just with modern hairdos! Whenever i think of Leigh, I think of those 2 door county girls trips--remember swimming in the LAKE? Oh, jolee...does she have kids? Anyway, memories...

Liesl - Jolee has 2 girls now I think. One must be around 7 b/c she was around at Matt's funeral 6 years ago and the other one is a baby. I met her husband and baby at Kelley's reception at Fox River for Ed's homegoing. Do you still remember the whole jello thing with the other leader that was with us? Danna probably will :).

Wow--yes, who could forget the other "sponsor" and her amazing stories of things unspoken!

Oh it still makes me roar with laughter!

Liesl, they have matching hair!!! And it is modern, you're right ~ they look like sisters though, not mom & daughter, eh?

Jen, it's so neat to see everyone after all these years ~ thanks for posting the pics!

I don't remember the specifics of what you guys are remembering here (*feeling a great sense of loss over it too*), but I have vague memories of Door County & a cabin & Porgy & Bess music on a tape. That's about it though. *cries*
