Here is one of our weekend adventures to Racine, WI. We went down for the free zoo and then stumbled upon this lighthouse. I truly love lighthouses ever since the summer tour with the Northern Lights out on the east coast. Though, I must admit when every other day you saw a lighthouse, it started to get monotonous. But now, I enjoy them again. I just heard from Julie not too long ago that she also took a break, after our trip, but hers was from sandwiches. To explain, we received sandwiches every day in a sack lunch for 3 months on the road. We could not look at them again for years afterwards, especially ham and cheese. Julie Churchwell (Grotzke) said that she just started liking them again - 9 years later! Good times!

Too funny about the sandwiches. We have sworn off spaghetti from all of the times we've had it while I was on bedrest and sick :P Such good memories. Ahh, free isn't that wonderful. Our zoo down here in St Louis is free. I love it!

I still can't eat ham & cheese sandwiches, but then it's only been 6 years for me! :-) Good to see your blog!

Mol-
Don't even mention spaghetti or lettuce. Supermarkets & Subway smelled of stale lettuce when I was pregnant. I could not stand it! And spaghetti-something about Ben Sinclair, spaghetti factory in Minnesota, and cleaning out the van a couple miles down the road, garlic wafting in the air and flecks of it landing on my cheek from the row behind me - yeah gross!
Hi Jenny, Heather, Alia, Amanda, & Carissa! So good to hear from you guys!
