Winter is coming! We are expected to get snow tonight and tomorrow morning. I guess it was going to come sometime, but I like for it to wait until Christmas or maybe just a dusting for Thanksgiving. I went out and bought salt this morning - maybe you think I'm crazy but since I broke my foot last year from slipping on the stairs outside our condo, I'm going to be better prepared this year. You all may laugh and jest but those to the east of us have it coming next!

I know! My jaw dropped this morning when I saw that snow is forecasted for us all week starting tomorrow. Guess I better get my winter coat out . . . too bad it doesn't close properly due to my belly. :)
Oh, don't worry about sending that freezing article to me from the paper. My mom scanned it and emailed it to me last night. GREAT information in that article, wow. Should make me a freezing expert!

throw that salt down, girl! some of my fondest memories of the north are seeing people walk the ice at northland...how many people wiped out right in front of that dining hall? i wonder.
we are basking in the indian summer here, too. we played "freeze tag" outside in shorts and t-s an hour ago!
